Questions & answers

How Kudozi works, and what it does with your calls.

The short version: Kudozi reads your calls to find real client praise, keeps only the moments you choose, and never stores the conversations themselves.

What does Kudozi actually do?

Kudozi reads your coaching calls the way a person would and surfaces the moments a client says something genuinely powerful about working with you. You review each one, decide who gets credited and how, and publish only the ones you want. Nothing goes public on its own.

Do you store my call recordings or transcripts?

No. Kudozi reads a call to pull out genuine praise, keeps only the short moments you review, and discards the rest. The full conversation is never stored.

For calls in Fathom, the transcript is read live from your own Fathom account at the moment of analysis and is not retained by Kudozi — Fathom stays the system of record. For a transcript you paste, upload, or forward by email, the text is analyzed in the moment and then discarded; only the extracted moments remain.

What about a testimonial a client sends me directly?

That's different, and on purpose. When a client uses your invite link to write or record a testimonial, they've volunteered that message for you to use — so a voice recording is kept so you can play it back. This is the one case where something is retained, because the client chose to send it.

How does connecting Fathom work? Is my API key safe?

You paste your personal Fathom API key once. Kudozi checks it with Fathom, then uses it only to read your own recordings. Your key is stored privately on your own account, shown back to you only as a masked hint, and never revealed in full or shared with anyone else. You can replace or disconnect it at any time. Fathom's API is included free on every Fathom plan.

Do my clients' names get published?

Only if you choose. Every moment starts anonymous. You decide the level of credit — anonymous, initials, first name, or full name — and you confirm you have the client's permission before anything featuring them goes live.

Can I disconnect or remove things later?

Yes. You can disconnect Fathom whenever you like, and delete any session or moment. Because the raw conversations were never stored, there's nothing lingering to clean up — only the moments you kept, which are yours to remove.
